Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Import-Export professional to manage and oversee our Export &-import operations

 import and sea shipment operations form a major part of the role. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of international trade laws, customs regulations, and logistics. Responsibilities and Duties

Import Operations: Coordinate and manage the entire import process, ensuring smooth handling of shipments from origin to destination. Handle documentation such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin. Ensure compliance with customs regulations and other legal requirements for importation. Sea Shipment Management: Plan and track the movement of sea shipments to ensure timely delivery. Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers for booking, tracking, and clearance. Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to maintain seamless communication. Resolve issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of shipments and transactions for audit and reporting purposes. Stay updated on changes in import-export regulations and ensure company compliance. Cost Management: Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with vendors. Analyze shipping costs and implement cost-saving strategies. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain. Ensure proper insurance coverage for shipments. Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline export operations and enhance overall performance.

Attention to details Experience 8 Education Qualification Diploma/  degree / certification in EXIM Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field
