Job Overview Managing & developing business and distribution network in the territory and nearby areas. Manage a high performance team.
Responsibilities and Duties
SALES & COLLECTION
 
  1. Developing sales strategies along with RSM for the area assigned and prepare  area/territory sales plan – with detailing region-wise, crop-wise, season-wise
  2. Implement the plan to achieve sales & Collection target
  3. Generating & growing sales & ensuring timely payments in the area
  4. Develop and manage efficient distribution networks for sales in the area assigned.
  5. Implement product strategy for the area/territory
 
TEAM DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT
 
  1. Prepare and implement route plan for all team members.
  2. Guide and train team members on products, route plan, activities and SFA app usage
  3. Ensure field  activities are being completed as per target set for all team members
  4. Monitoring team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets, including action on non performing reportees.
  5. Responsible for recruitment for the state identifying and interviewing candidates.
  6. Ensure all travel expenses of all team members (including self) are within permissible limit.
  7. Organize large farmer meeting and dealer meeting for the area/territory with help of marketing team
 
BA & BUSINESS PROFIT MANAGEMENT
  1. Ensure complete liquidation of stock from all dealers and sub-dealers of the area/territory.
  2. Prepare monthly MIS and present to management
  3. Submit cost-benefit analysis of the product demo and conduct crop shows
  4. Analyzing competition products in the area, & accordingly suggesting improvements/ new products
 
  1. Timely MIS reporting to RSM
  2. Manage business & build relations with large farmers – 10 acres and above
  3. Solve BA and farmer related issues (keeping in mind high standard of the company)
 
MISCELLANEOUS
  1. Resolve govt. issues at local level
  2. Management of consultants for sales (after approval)
 
Soft Skills
Excellent Selling skills, team management skills, Influencing skills
 
Specific Skills
Knowledge of  the territory & state’s  Agri input market and  Biological segments
Knowledge of sustainable agriculture, products methods  & tools
 
Experience 7-15YRS
