Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for aseptic inoculum preparation, transfer, sampling and sterility. Timely release of fermentation inoculum.
• Perform Periodic monitoring of facility (Settle plate, Swabs, Samplings, etc).
• Timely analysis, reporting to the Shift In charge during Production.
• Logical expression of plates, reporting and support to Production.
• Ensure that Culture is properly handled and maintained prior and post usage.
• Maintain all lab equipment in working condition and calibrated as per frequency.
• Maintaining proper housekeeping of the Production laboratory. Maintain it clean and contamination free.
• Ensure that Plant entry Log is maintained.
• Keep all records related to regulatory compliance updated.
• Training of technicians and workers to perform given tasks.

• Work planning and distribution to team members in a clear form.

• Prepare and Implement Safety policy as and when required.
• Implementation knowledge of IMS/ISO documentation
• Preparing and managing QMS documentation (i.e. SOP, training schedule, etc.)
• Preparation of EHS training, mock drills schedule and maintaining records, Safety Induction of new joinee (Staff & Contractual)Issuance and monitoring of work permit systems
• Enhance site safety level as per the industrial safety norms. Monitoring of ongoing day-to-day activities and scheduled planning activities within the department as well as adjacent departmental activities.

• Plan and implement OHS policies and program. Review effectiveness of Periodical medical check-up and analysis of data.
